Yago School Biology and Geology

S1 students have learned the importance of groundwater for our planet in Biology & Geology.

They have learned that aquifers are one of the most important sources of water on earth, containing high percentage of our liquid freshwater.

Yago School uses new active teaching and learning methodologies and we consider them crucial in the Science subjects. We have used Project-Based Learning approaches to help students understand how aquifers are formed. Taking advantage of our forest they built their own aquifers.

They were able to share their experiences and they learned that soil characteristics determine water infiltration, surface runoff, etc.

Educational innovation is a pillar of Yago School, and as a part of that, we use Project-Based Learning such as this one. If you want to know more about educational innovation, or anything related to Yago School, private bilingual school in Seville, please contact us to request information.
