DIARY of some World Travellers: February 22nd

Thursday, Day 4, February 22nd: Great Britain

Today P3 visited England! They went to the White Cliffs of Dover, waited for a bus, went on the London Eye, and got deafened by a Welsh male voice choir! They also worked on their theatrical production of the History of Britain – which is no mean feat and which will be performed tomorrow in the Primary assembly.

Secondary shared moments from their exploration into the literary canon from their Macbeth characterisations and full-length cartoon to Harry Potter scenes shot around the school on iMovie complete with special effects. The Houses of Parliament were being given finishing touches to the strains of Elgar’s Nimrod and The Beatles’ It’s a Hard Day’s Night and Abbey Road album.

The quintessentially English meal – fish and chips and peas not mushy but Andalusian style with a touch of ham was enjoyed by all at lunch.

Now we only have time to choose our outfits for the specially themed no uniform day tomorrow ready for our full trip around the World in English. Tally ho! Don’t forget your passports.
