Last Saturday, April 22nd, was EARTH DAY and here at Yago School we wanted to celebrate it!
We dedicated our Infant Assembly to Earth Day, to learning about our planet and how we can protect it.
All of the students were very attentive as we watched a video that taught us ways to take care of our environment. We now know that we have to turn off the water while we are brushing our teeth, we can drink water from reusable water bottles instead of plastic bottles, we have to throw our trash in the bin, and that we need to recycle to maintain and conserve the best parts of our planet. We learned that the more we take care of it, the better we will live on it.
To end the assembly, we made a beautiful Earth mural with our hands. It is very important for children to learn how to respect and value nature. We must take care of the world. Earth is our planet, and It is our duty to take care of it.
We had so much fun! Let’s take care of the Earth!
