PRIZES AT THE MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD IN SEVILLE

For the second year in a row our Secondary 2 students participated in the provincial level of the XXXIV THALES Mathematical Olympiad that was held in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Seville.

We want to highlight the high level of all the School’s participants, led by Gonzalo González Torregosa who on April 11th  was awarded last with:

A Special Mention for being the student in our school who obtained the highest mark.

A Prize for being amongst the 25 best scores of the entire province, getting between the tenth and the sixth position (among 474 students who signed up).

The international, bilingual, private Yago School recognizes the effort, achievements and merit of its students so it held a recognition ceremony in the Concert Hall, where diplomas were given to all participants, as well as Marta Zaitsev Borrero who led the classification in the previous year.

Congratulations to all of these great mathematicians
