The students who study religion and catechesis at Yago School received their First Communion in our School this weekend.
Our students have been preparing themselves for two years to fully participate in the Eucharist by communing with the Body of Christ. In an emotional ceremony led by our chaplain, Father James, 50 of our Primary 4 students took a very important step in their Christian faith.
And, like every year, The Yago School Choir delighted the audience with some of the pieces that will be performed at the Vatican next June when they will sing before The Pope.
The children and families were grateful for the effort and dedication of all teachers and Heads who took care of every detail and made this special day possible.
Finally, we had some students who deserve a special mention as they donated their gifts to a non-profit organisation. These gestures honour you and show that you are prepared to live a fully Christian life.
Congratulations to all!
