BEST ROBOT DESIGN IN THE FIRST LEGO LEAGUE
Our students from Secondary 1, Gonzalo Pinteño, Enrique Morales, Nicolás Velázquez, Diego Díaz and Ana G. Eligio participated for the second time in the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE international robotics championship, which this year was dedicated to space.
Thanks to the advanced training in robotics that all students receive in the School, many students decide to work on their own in this area. This is the case for this outstanding team of students, who prepared their participation in this avant-garde event during the weekends since the school year began.
The activity, organized on February 23rd and 24th at the University of Engineering at Isla de la Cartuja, had 16 teams and our students won the “Best Robot Design” Trophy.
They made integrated learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), essential to promote sustainable progress, as well as training that enhances 21st century skills and abilities such as teamwork, creativity, communication, skills and values that contribute to social welfare, essential key results for their future preparation.
Admiramos sinceramente vuestra creatividad, dedicación y entrega.
¡Estamos muy orgullosos de vosotros chicos!
