Book Week & Book Fair
An incredible week, full of enthusiasm for books and their illustrations. The butterflies that have been fluttering around Yago School these days have been fluttering around the titles, authors and illustrators of countless books of all kinds and for all ages. We have been involved in a multitude of activities which promote reading and the abilities of our pupils; trips to libraries and bookshops, fable plays, puppet shows, meetings with authors, storytelling; activities carried out in incomparable and enriching settings; our playgrounds and library, the Andalusian Parliament, bookshops, our farm and at any time of the day.

The result of a week full of adventures through research and learning from a multitude of countries is a hymn to cultural diversity. The Yago Foundation, with the wonderful motivation and participation of Yago School students, showcases the beauty of difference in this incredible universal exhibition.
Parents’ school. I go to the toilet on my own
At Yago School Nursery, we hold a parents’ school every term where we inform and guide parents on different topics related to the education of their children. On this occasion the topic has been “Potty training”.
How Music is important in Babies’ Stimulation
By delighting our pupils with different styles of quality music, we encourage the development of skills such as rhythm, auditory abilities, memory and imagination, stimulate thinking through sounds, rhythms and melodies, and also contribute to their physical, psychological and emotional growth.

Art in early years
Our art project enhances a wide variety of skills, through the values that artistic education provides along with the development of the two skills that benefit the development of intelligence in other subjects: creativity and imagination, which are innate in human beings.
When do babies start talking?
From the moment babies are born, their brains are extremely receptive and start a highly intensive process of development. This period is particularly significant and maturation takes place mostly during the first 3 years of life.
Yago School on the CICAE Board of Directors
We are proud to announce that Yago School will represent the Andalusian Community in CICAE, a national and international association of privately owned schools, made up of 57 premium educational institutions, whose essential aim is to defend free and independent education in Spain.
Infant 4 pupils are introduced to the world of coding and robotics with the friendly Bee-Bots
Yago School’s educational programme from Infant 4 includes Bee Bots with great success among students and teachers; our little ones develop directional language and other spatial concepts while playing. This is valuable learning that is both creative and fun.

We are proud of all our winners in the largest pre-university debating competition in Europe, debating on policies that sanction countries to reduce their environmental impact.
Encouraging entrepreneurship from Secondary School onwards
Last Tuesday our students took part in the first training meeting with renowned entrepreneurs organised by CESUR, the Association of Entrepreneurs of Southern Spain.
