At Yago School we provide our students with an international mindset and prepare them for a global future in this ever-changing environment.

Our International Boarding School in Seville is a secure and modern facility that houses 56 students from different countries around the world. Our aim for our boarding students is for them to have an unforgettable multicultural experiencein an environment that fosters , autonomy and cultural competence.Attaining these skills will improve their academic performance and positively impact their university years and professional careers.

Students in our boarding home are cared for 24/7 by our qualified and experienced staff. A staff who create a home away from home where students will build lifelong relationships, memories and experiences.

Our currículum

We provide a differentiated curriculum in which we combine the IB® programmes with the national curriculum in a common pedagogical framework, recognised for each programme, and with a coherent structure of objectives and values.

The main objective of the Diploma Programme is to provide our students with an internationally recognised and comprehensive education that prepares them for university and for their future careers. Through participation in IB programmes, students learn to become thoughtful citizens, able to express their thoughts and to manage their time and responsibilities well.

Its programmes are focused on developing inquiring, informed, educated, caring and motivated students.

It is the perfect training for our students’ university studies, giving them the opportunity to study at top universities in the world.

Cultural activities, sports, leisure and recreation

Our school calendar includes a series of activities related to culture, leisure and sports in which students are always keen to participate in. Additionally our students are able to participate in school organized field trips and excursions all of which facilitate their integration in our school community.

Weekend Activities

Weekend activities, organized by our Boarding Home staff are aimed at helping our boarding students integrate in their environment. We want to enjoy leisure and entertainment activities , become immersed in the culture and develop on a personal level. Some sample activities include concerts, cultural excursions, field trips and sports trips.

Admissions process

1. Inquiry

Our admissions team is available to answer any questions you may have and to help guide prospective families during the admissions process. Inquiries can be made:

Once your inquiry is received a member of our team will contact you in order to arrange a video conference or in person meeting.

2. Application

This process allows us to learn more about prospective students and their families:

Confidential form completed by student where we obtain information about their academic and extracurricular background as well as any other relevant data that may be important to consider during the application process.

Items required during this process:

  • Online or in person interview with the prospective student´s family or legal guardians and a member of the admissions team.
  • Online or in person interview with the prospective student and a member of the admissions team.
  • An English language test may be required.
  • Academic reports for the 2 previous years.
  • For students with special needs, a copy of their most recent psychoeducational assessment must be submitted. Additional tests may be requested in the case of receipt of such documentation. If you are interested in studying one of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programmes, please check here for additional requirements.
  • In the case of wanting to study any of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programs (IB or MYP), consult the additional requirements here.
  • Letter of recommendation or letter of motivation
  • Non-native English speakers applying for a place in the IB bilingual programme must provide a B2 level certificate or pass the specific level tests.

This process could take up to one month depending on the amount of time it takes to gather the required documentation.

Starting the admissions process does not commit either party.

3. Acceptance

Once all documentation has been received, the admission committee will review the prospective students file, availability in the solicited course as well as possible services required such as language support or special education needs support.

This process can take anywhere between 2 and 10 calendar days.

The family will be notified of the admissions decision.

4. Enrollment

Once we offer the place to the student, we begin the formal enrollment process.

The enrollment procedure for accepted students requires the submission of the following documents:

  • Copy parents or legal guardians DNIs or passports.
  • Copy of the student´s DNI or passport.
  • Passport sized photos of student and each parent or legal guardian.
  • Copy of legal custody agreement in the case of separated parents.
  • Proof of payment or transfer of enrollment fee.
  • Transfer Certificate from previous school.

Once the enrollment process has been completed:

  • The finance department will charge the appropriate fees.
  • The family will receive a welcome pack closer to the date that the student starts with all of the information that they will need to know about their child’s stay and the first few days Yago.

A students place is not confirmed until the following fees have been paid:

  • 1.500€ non refundable enrollment Fee One-time payment required to confirm the place. This fee is non-refundable.
  • 2000€ Deposit refundable upon exit of the student. Single refundable payment upon departure.
  • 500€ Activity Fund.

Once these payments have been made the students place is confirmed.
