Sport is a habit that must be acquired from childhood and that helps the physical and mental development of our children. Physical Education is understood within our project as a vehicle to transmit values related to teamwork, health, healthy competitiveness, effort and personal sacrifice as tools for improvement.
At Yago School three Physical Education classes are offered each week and we also have numerous extracurricular activities and competitions through which pupils specialise or practice certain sports.
Sport school: with the noble purpose of stimulating and encouraging the practice of sports enthusiasts, Yago School has extracurricular sport, which is offered for two hours a week. Pupils can choose from various sports, organised like sports schools.
Chess: the advantages of playing this sport for early stimulation, for logical thinking and for teaching values such as courtesy and sportsmanship are well known. Therefore, starting in Infant, pupils are introduced to chess.
