Yago School

Welcome

Yago School has resident students aged between 12 and 18 years, and day students aged between 4 months and 18 years, from over 38 nationalities, at its campuses in Seville and Málaga.

Private, multilingual and international schools located in Seville and Málaga, with mixed education, where we combine tradition and modern approach to learning.

In Seville, we are an authorised International Baccalaureate (IB®) school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), integrating them with the Spanish curriculum. Additionally, we are a candidate school for offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP).

In Málaga, we are a candidate school for both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).

The backbone of our holistic educational project is values. Knowledge never comes without first attending to the human aspects of learning. Some of the values that are we believe are necessary in today’s society are respect, discipline and effort, autonomy, tolerance, responsibility, friendship and solidarity; with this we seek to educate our students and prepare them for the different challenges that their adult life will bring them.

Our students achieve the best fluency in English and an advanced communicative level of Chinese as a second foreign language.

In addition, we have Boarding Homes, where students from all over the world have the opportunity to live the Yago experience

Yago School

Why Yago School?

Five aspects make us unique in our way of understanding international education:

Methodology

Our educational project is based on the following educational principles: traditional values, multilingualism, science and technology, music and art, sport and the prestigious IB curriculum. Six foundations which, together with a demanding academic preparation, ensure that our students are well prepared for their personal and professional lives.

Innovation

The spirit of innovation is an essential part of our Schools. We seek to stimulate creativity in each of our students and teachers in our classrooms. We encourage applied research and continuous professional development of our teachers by collaborating with the technology industry as an essential part of our educational project.

Wellbeing and Safeguarding

Our Schools has a Wellbeing and Safeguarding programme, offering a safe, welcoming and motivating environment that allows our students to learn, grow as people and be happy.
Children who feel valued, listened to and supported are encouraged to reach their academic and personal potential.
By committing to Safeguarding and Child Protection as a key priority, we ensure that we continue to build a strong “Culture of Care” in our school. This allows us to turn policy into practice in a measured, tangible and balanced way.

"We have all the necessary ingredients to successfully educate all our students by providing them with the highest quality education in English and Spanish and helping them with values".

Creativity

At Yago School we encourage our students to express themselves creatively through music and art using different techniques. This encourages them to develop their senses, perception and fosters personal initiative and stimulates their imagination, favouring their way of expressing themselves.

Nutrition

Healthy habits are as important as the academic performance of our students. A healthy and balanced diet together with the practice of their favourite sports helps their physical and emotional development, as well as improving their personal and professional growth. It is extremely important to offer our students an excellent quality diet, which is adapted to the stage of growth they are going through and to the needs of each student, which is why a wide variety of food is present in their daily menu.
