The Yago Foundation has donated 5.000€ to the construction of NATURE CLASSROOMS like those of Yago School (“POST-COVID CLASSROOMS” as our dear Father Jota calls them)

Father Juan Fernández-Salvador, born in Seville, came to the Parish of the Holy Family of Hualmay in Huacho, Peru, more than 13 years ago. Since then, he has dedicated his life to helping the inhabitants of this disadvantaged area north of Lima. Apart from managing six educational institutions, Father Jota has built a Rehabilitation Centre for 50 disabled children and a primary and secondary school called “Liceo Español”.

Liceo Español was born in 2011 and has worked closely with our school since its beginnings; the project has become a reality thanks to the commitment, dedication and good work of Father Juan Fernández-Salvador who is determined to provide his children in Hualmay with an excellent school.

It is important to be aware of the importance of this educational center for the children of Hualmay. Not only is it a window to a better future, but it provides a balanced diet for its students, who come from very poor families.

We have been and will always be willing to do our bit for the MISSION OF FATHER JUAN FERNANDEZ-SALVADOR. Thank you to the partners of The Yago Foundation and its collaborators for participating from the beginning in such commendable work.
