Last Saturday, April 1st, we celebrated our sixth Yago School Fun Fair, a party where we raise funds so that The Yago Foundation can continue to help Father Jota in his school in Peru (El Liceo Español en Hualmay), and to help those parents who need it, who may need it in the future and all the causes with which we are collaborating.
Under a bright sun we opened the school doors at 11:00 to begin the exhibitions of extracurricular activities: Initiation to music and piano, Sevillanas, Ballet, Judo and Gymnastics.
We also offered a nursery area for children from 0 to 5 years old, workshops like Guess How Many, face painting, Wii Zone, electronic basketball, throwing games, obstacle courses and other things.
The multi sport pitches included 2 bouncy castles, a mechanical bull, four trampolines with bungee wires, a rock climbing wall, and table football.
The teachers prepared a Science Corner where everyone could do science experiments and contests.
The afternoon was very lively with performances from Alejandro Vega, Dr. Diablo and our unique and fun Staff Band.
The spectacular charity tombola and the market did not stop receiving visitors, as happened with the bar, which served thousands of dishes and drinks to an audience thrilled by this wonderful event.
All of us who are part of Yago School thank you for helping us have an unforgettable day and raise serious money for The Yago Foundation.
This is one of the most endearing traditions we are strengthening at Yago School. Its spirit of solidarity undoubtedly infects to the children, and helps them to form more just and less selfish spirits, so necessary in the society that we live in today.
