Physics project with EV3 robots

por | Mar 1, 2018 | Science, Secondary

Secondary 2 students have been studying speed, acceleration, and friction in physics and chemistry.

They’ve learned by doing using the EV3 robots in teams. They had to calculate the robots’ speed and acceleration on different surfaces.

Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other.

They were able to prove that rougher surfaces significantly decreased the speed of the robots due to higher friction.

¿Have you  noticed how much fun they are having?. Because, we have it clear. At Yago School, we take care of every detail of the education, from the infancy to the adolescence, not only studying but well spending their time. As an international school, we include in our classrooms the best of the different educations systems with the technology it deserves. We like, as well, our students to be updated with the national and international trends, so they can develop open minded and respectful skills. If you have any doubt or need more information, please feel free to contact us. ¡We will love to help you!
